This Pulley & Ascender Pack includes a Gibbs-style ascender, a Petzl-style single pulley, and a Petzl-style double pulley - each with fully printable or metal-hardware options.
Practice rope routing, demonstrate mechanical advantage, and build different training setups with reusable miniature models.
What’s included:
- Gibbs-style ascender with printable threaded hardware and an optional keeper pin with a tether hole.
- Gibbs-style ascender configured for an M3 bolt and nut.
- Single and double pulleys with printable axles, nuts, washers, and swivel-retaining pins.
- Single and double pulley versions configured for metal M3 hardware.
- Six organized print plates in one 3MF file.
- Illustrated PDF assembly manual.
The pulleys feature swiveling attachment eyes and swing-open side plates, making it easy to place rope into the wheel grooves without threading it through the entire pulley.
Choose your hardware: Use the included printable hardware or select the plates configured for metal M3 bolts. Nylon-insert locknuts - often called Nyloc nuts - are recommended to help prevent metal bolts from backing out while keeping moving parts free.
Rope sizing: At the supplied size, these models fit 4 mm paracord. You can scale them up to accommodate larger rope, including 8 mm rope. Scaling also enlarges the hardware holes and printed fasteners, so metal bolt sizes will need to be adjusted.
DIGITAL DOWNLOAD ONLY — No physical product will be shipped. Metal hardware, rope, and carabiners are not included. For personal and training use only. A commercial license is not included. Files may not be resold or redistributed.
TABLETOP TRAINING USE ONLY: These miniature pulleys are not load-rated and must never be used for actual rescue, climbing, fall protection, supporting people or animals, or lifting heavy loads. They are intended only for tabletop demonstrations and training. These are independent training models, not products manufactured or endorsed by Gibbs or Petzl.
