Build your own miniature rigging system for hands-on tabletop practice! Designed by firefighters for firefighters, this Arizona Vortex–style kit gives you a practical way to explore rigging configurations, discuss setup decisions, and get more repetitions with a compact training tool.

Whether you’re practicing on your own or working through scenarios with your crew, this printable kit brings an interactive element to your training table.

What You’re Purchasing:

This is a digital download of the full tabletop Vortex kit in one 3MF project file. No physical product will be shipped. Print time is approximately 31 hours, but will vary by printer and filament.

The project includes:

• Printable components for the full miniature Vortex kit.
• Clearly labeled print plates organized by color.
• Part orientations arranged for printing.
• Support, infill, and selected part-specific settings prepared as a starting point.

Printing & Assembly: 

The kit was developed and test-printed on a Bambu Lab P2S with a 256 × 256 mm print area. Open the project in Bambu Studio and review the printer, filament, and sliced preview settings before printing.

Other printers may require profile changes or rearranging parts across additional plates. Compatibility with every printer or slicer is not guaranteed.

The project uses 30% infill as a starting point. Print quality, fit, and durability will vary with your material, printer calibration, and settings. Carefully remove supports and test connections gently before assembly.

Additional Supplies:

Filament, cordage, and assembly hardware are not included. The foot plates require nuts and bolts; printed pins can be used for the remaining connections, with hardware available as an alternative. Refer to the kit’s hardware guide for sizes and quantities.
